ØWhat is DAP?

DAP stands for Distinguished Achievement Program. Most students will graduate under the state’s Recommended Graduation Program however some students will be recognized as Distinguished if they meet the requirements for DAP. This distinction will be noted on their transcript with a special seal and with an asterisk by their name on the LFHS Graduation Program. 


ØWho graduates DAP?

Students who meet the Recommended Graduation Requirements plus four Advanced Measures will qualify to graduate DAP. Students must also have three credits of the same foreign language such as Spanish I, II, and III or French I, II, and III. AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature may also count as a third level.


ØWhat are the Advanced Measures required to graduate DAP?

The Advanced Measures can be a combination of the following:

cap AP Exams (Passing with a 3 or above)

cap College Courses (3.0 or above)

cap Original Research Project (Limit of 2)

cap Tech Prep Courses (3.0 or above)

cap National Commended or Merit Scholar (PSAT Score)
