Counseling Services

The Los Fresnos High School Counseling Department is committed to supporting students at every grade level through comprehensive academic, social-emotional, and college and career counseling services. Our counselors work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and administrators to ensure that every student receives the guidance and support needed to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

 

Academics remain at the core of our work. Counselors assist students with course planning, graduation requirements, college and career readiness, and goal setting to ensure each student is prepared for life beyond high school. Equally important is our focus on mental health and social-emotional well-being. We provide guidance, crisis support, and proactive programming that promotes resilience, responsible decision-making, and healthy relationships. We believe that positive academic outcomes are closely connected to strong emotional support systems.
